How Elisabeth works…..

Elisabeth’s style and philosophy:

  • Builds good, trusted relationships with all her clients: facilitating the journey and assisting them to move forward from where they are at now in their current employment situation to work out a road map to where they want to be, and seeing them grow and achieve in the process.

  • Coaching style: honours respect, builds rapport, develops confidence, empathy, understanding and positive regard, treating each person in a unique way, being aware of their personality, character, value system, knowledge, skills, experience and organisational context, all within the boundaries of confidentiality and building trust throughout the coaching contract

  • Uses an eclectic approach to coaching: including client-centred counselling, solution focused and the GROW approach to coaching, and drawing on a range of other theoretical and practical interventions where required, assisting the client with their style and preference to move forward through the transition from where they are currently at.

  • Uses a range of questioning techniques: open, closed, leading, probing, scaling, magic, chunking up/ chunking down and reframing

  • Contracting and Evaluation: Good contracting is established with the client/sponsor and the coachee, establishing clear boundaries, expectations and objectives for the coaching, agreeing the number and length of sessions, and their frequency, reviewing progress regularly and encouraging feedback and evaluation at the end of the contract

  • Reviews objectives: at commencement of each session and encourages feedback to review progress at the end of each session.
